ANNA LUIGI
Mezzo Soprano
"Par une scénographie qui lui est propre, l'artiste s'est permis une lente déambulation au coeur de l'église, chantant a cappella, moment de grande intensité, donnant à nouveau la possibilité d'apprécier la tessiture de sa voix (...).Envoûtement du public à son comble et standing ovation. "

Biography
Anna Luigi is a French-American mezzo-soprano who began her professional career in 2023, with a strong focus on the Baroque repertoire. She studied at William Christie’s Fondation Les Arts Florissants, where she worked extensively on Charpentier’s Médée.
In 2023, she performed Griselda at the Museo Bagatti Valsecchi in Milan alongside Roberta Invernizzi, and sang her first Carmen with the North Wales Opera Studio, where she was encouraged by conductor John Moore. She was a finalist at the Corsica Lirica Competition and sang Athamas in Händel’s Semele at the Cockpit Theatre, London (2024).
Anna is also active as a composer and performer in interdisciplinary projects. In 2024, she co-founded the duo AETHER with pianist Raphaël Goldman, performing across France (notably at Les Jardins d'Henri Martin of Marquayrol in August 2025) and Belgium, in churches and unconventional venues, receiving warm critical and public response. Upcoming engagements in 2026 include performances at Les Concerts du Patrimoine (Les Junies, Lot), La Chapelle des Carmélites, and Auditorium Saint-Pierre des Cuisines in Toulouse.
Born in Paris in 1995 into a family of artists, Anna studied piano and voice at the Conservatoire Nadia et Lili Boulanger and trained in drama at les Cours Florent. She continued her vocal studies at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, where she earned a Diploma of Higher Education in Music. There, she was noticed by the young conductor Raffaello Morales, who engaged her for the role of Marzelline (Fidelio) and offered her her first professional contract with the Fidelio Orchestra in 2020.. She also trained in institutional programs (NOS in London) or during private lessons from international singers (Ludovic Tézier in 2021). She is now a student of Chantal Santon-Jeffery in Paris, and is regularly coached by Sylvie Leroy (CNSMD of Lyon).
